Humber Valley Resort offers a variety of recreational and leisure amenities for guests to enjoy. The resort is continually developing new partnerships in the locale to increase the number of activities available and to enhance the overall experience of a vacation in the Humber Valley.

Since its inception in 2002 some CAD$50,000,000 has been invested in the infrastructure of the resort much of which is now complete and the resort has been in operation since December 2004. Planned additions to infrastructure include a driving range and tennis courts for summer 2008. The following facilities form the core of amenities that guests can enjoy at Humber Valley Resort.

• The River Course, an 18-hole golf course designed by Doug Carrick opened in June 2006 and forms a spectacular backdrop to the whole development. The award winning course is a huge draw to buyers, holiday makers and Newfoundlanders alike.
• The Eagles Perch Clubhouse offers fabulous 360 degree views of the resort, the lake and the surrounding mountains. The 17,000 square foot complex houses a restaurant, a bar, a pro shop and conference facilities.
• The Beach House Bar & Restaurant sits on the shores of Deer Lake and is the social hub of the Resort. The restaurant has a relaxed pub atmosphere serving food throughout the day. The recreation department has mountain bikes, kayaks and Hobie cats for hire and can arrange activities such as salmon fishing, caving or walking in Gros Morne.
• Found Spa is nestled in the unspoiled forests of the Humber Valley on the shores of the lake. Accredited as an Aveda Concept Spa, Found Spa has aligned its values in synergy with nature and sustainability of resources. Aveda’s philosophy is to use organic products and treatments which appeal to both men and women.
• Strawberry Hill Resort, Humber Valley’s heritage property is situated across the Lower Humber River and provides a further top class restaurant as well as superb conference, reception facilities and a boutique hotel.
• A range of conference facilities are available at the resort and Strawberry Hill. Large groups of up to 260 people can be accommodated in picturesque surroundings at the Eagles Perch which are complemented by key conference facilities. There are also meeting rooms and chalets available for small group seminars.
